Data Migration.  If you are moving your data to new databases, CRM, mail order or ERP systems, we can work with you to identify duplication, set the appropriate flags and create re-parenting files for updating relational databases. We have skills in migrating to SAP, Seibel and many other systems.

Note. The deduplication process is far more complex than a single pass through a generic de-dupe tool. If you need a high degree of accuracy then be prepared for additional and often time-consuming preparation and formatting stages including, but not limited to:

• The creation of multiple match-keys suited to your specific objectives, your data and varying field layouts

• Defining and applying the right rules when merging multiple files and differentiating between B2C, B2B (contact and/or company level) or both

• Re-running the process on subsets of the data using different matching parameters

• The correct merging and consolidation of information from duplicated records

This level of work is not undertaken with 'on-line' de-duplication solutions which are usually restricted to a couple of standard matching algorithms. With de-duplication, there is no 'one size fits all' and you get what you pay for. Be warned.
