Dirty Harry's Character Assassin Executive Summary...

Removing unwanted characters - permanently or on-the-fly. Used to strip non-printable characters and to improve your merge/purge process. An on-the-fly conversion allows letters with and without accents to be treated as equivalent during the match process, whilst retaining foreign characters in your source data.

Where your data is full of unwanted characters or symbols, then Dirty Harry eradicates manual intervention in their removal. You can create multiple template tables to substitute varying multi-national character sets and these tables can also be used to suppress characters (rather than remove them) when undertaking de-duplication with DoubleTake software.

Dirty Harry fixes or removes troublesome characters in your mailing list data - characters lurking in your file that may confuse your printer or hang your computer and halt processing halfway through a run. (Dos/Win95/98/NT/Win2000/XP)
