Personator Executive
Summary...
Splits
Name Fields, Genderises, Makes Salutations.
Splits
full or inverse name fields into Prefix, First Name, Middle Name, Last
Name, Suffix/Title/Honours, adds correct prefix/gender by referencing
100,000 record gender-base look-up table.
Also Personator auto-generates varying salutations based on the
content of the name field.
Where
the contact full name is held in a single field, this utility will
correctly split the name into its correct elements and derive the gender
and prefix. It will also derive perfect salutations that can automatically
vary depending on the available data in the name field (or fields). User
definable look-up tables are used to ensure maximum accuracy.

-
Accurately splits full and inverse name fields into their components.
-
Works with your own field names and layouts.
-
Recognises multi- word name parts like “Dr. & Mrs.” or “de la Rosa”.
-
Easy to customise.
-
Makes better salutations than a word processor.
-
Works with lists in dBASE and ASCII.
-
Lighting fast: Several times faster than the DOS version.
-
Simple to use. Setup in less than a minute.
-
Adds genderising prefixes using seven levels of precision. Adjustable settings.
-
Outputs “Dr.” as the correct prefix for professional titles like “MD” or PhD”. Editable table.
-

-
Input name fields can be in mixed formats (e.g. Full name list with some Inverse names).
Personator splits full name, inverse name, even double name fields
-
With double names, you control what’s done with the second name: split it, move it, discard it, or make a second record.
-
Simple, but also flexible. Reusable setups. Extensive user definable preferences. Editable lookup tables.
Personator recognises gender and adds prefix or sex
-
Gives you the choice of genderising conservatively, normally, or aggressively. You can “tilt”
genderising toward male or female if a file is mostly one gender (e.g. subscribers to Women’s Day).
-
Doesn’t override existing prefixes unless you want it to.
-
Can use a suffix (like “Jr.”) to determine the correct prefix even if the first name is unknown or neutral.
-
Ask about GenderBase 100. For even more precise
genderising, you’ll want this add-on genderising table with over 100,000 single word
un-hyphenated first names!
