Competitive Pricing

Where possible, we will always match or improve upon any competitor pricing where the solution or technology offered is the same (or very close) to that provided by Tech4T.

Whilst price is very important it should not be your only consideration. Each of our solutions is tailored to meet your specific needs and the preparatory work we undertake to deliver your solution will ensure it will fully meet your business and marketing objectives. 

In addition, we can usually provide discounts for competitive upgrades - where you move from your current software to one provided by us - and advantageous pricing for our bureau services if for example you wish Tech4T to host your marketing database.

Software

We base all our software pricing on that provided to us by our technology partners, thus ensuring pricing always remains consistent. The big difference though is the added value we can provide given we are also users of the technologies we supply and fully understand how to use the tools to maximum effect in a data production, analysis or marketing environment. You will also benefit from our proven methodologies and comprehensive support options.

Most of the data improvement, enrichment, analysis, marketing and mailing software we supply ranges between £350 and £5,000, with multi-user and/or multi-module systems from £1,500 to £15,000. 

FastStats Discoverer and KbaseT are supplied on an annual licence basis with prices varying based on the number of records, users and modules required.

Our web-based ORA campaign and business intelligence reporting software is uniquely sold on a per-server licence basis - with a single server typically supporting up to 1000 users.

Services

Our consultancy, marketing, data improvement/enrichment/validation, analysis, development and training services are usually costed on a per project basis, but being a relatively small company we can usually price our solutions far more competitively than that of our competitors.

To cost a project we will take account of your specific objectives, the required deliverables and timescales, the quality and state of your data, the number of files involved, the varying data, analytics and marketing methodologies that need to be developed, supporting tailored documentation or training preparation, any update processes and the complexity of the task. 

We tend to base our quotation on realistic time estimations or actual time taken, plus any data costs as appropriate. Often, for data improvement or enrichment though, a mix of time and a cost per 1000 (for the number of records processed) and/or cost per record suppressed/enhanced, is more appropriate.

As a guideline, straightforward data improvement and analysis projects would usually cost between £500 and £2,500, plus any external data costs for optional enrichment.

Data

Pricing for data - for prospecting, profiling, marketing intelligence and suppression - is always researched and quoted on a case-by-case basis once we fully understand your needs. Larger Solutions

If the type of work that you are considering Tech4T to undertake involves a longer term contract spanning consultative data-driven marketing, data work, database hosting, analytics, campaign management, measurement and reporting, we may be prepared to work on a cost+ basis for some or all of the elements we provide. This means that there would be a fixed price component to contribute to our costs and a variable element where we would make our margin by agreeing a percentage of the uplift we help your business achieve. Clearly we would need to agree terms and how results would be measured, but in principle we would be prepared to consider such an option whereby we would share the risk and the reward.

In addition to evaluation software downloads and the face-to-face demonstrations we provide, where appropriate, we can also provide 1-2-1 or 1-2-many on-line product demonstrations through a web conference. This way you can be sure that what you are buying from Tech4T is the best possible solution for the task in hand.  Experience tells us that most of our customers appreciate honest guidance when it come to deciding what to buy and we will gladly pass on to you a vast knowledge of the applications where our technologies can and cannot be used.

Minimising Risk

Where possible, we will always try to phase the implementation of a solution to minimise risk and spread cost, and this may include what we term a 'Proof-of-Concept' or a 'Pilot Project'.

A 'Proof-of-Concept' (POC) is usually deployed where perhaps it is unclear as to how well the software being proposed will meet the client's needs. It would typically include taking a sample of your data and loading this into the software. Appropriate supporting work would be undertaken as needed and the solution then demonstrated - face-to-face, via an on-line web conference or through a software 'evaluation' system. Any costs would usually be limited to a contribution to the work Tech4T undertake for development and training, and for software use if the system is deployed for operational or exploratory work.

A 'Pilot Project' is typically used where a longer evaluation of the technology is needed and/or to help develop and refine - though a learning process - appropriate methodologies that best meet the project's SMART objectives (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound). Where software is included, a prototype would be developed to reflect as closely as possible your final configuration. Often this would involve working with a full set of data rather than a sample. Costs would include short-term technology rental and payment for the work Tech4T undertake.
