Direct Marketing

We do this using a mix of your own and third party data combined with a raft of analytical techniques to fully understand customer behaviour, determine audience profiles and find out which messages or offers prospects and customers do (or don't) react positively towards. 

This information is then used to drive the segmentation/targeting process, the development of new offers, and also to create and test appropriate creative design and copy. Data and Analytics

At Tech4T we tend to look at data differently from most companies and this is reflected in the methodologies and technologies we deploy. We fully appreciate that when it comes to the data cleaning, enhancement and analysis of your company-wide data, then the approaches and tools usually adopted for the more straightforward direct mail list processing will not cut the mustard. The risk is simply too high and your critical business data could be corrupted as a result.

Our focus and 'precision approach' is therefore on helping you first ensure that your company data is 100% (or as close to this as possible) fit for purpose and then ensure that the appropriate analytics, targeting and database marketing resource is in place to help you grow both customer value and profitability.

For instance, we can detect changes in customer behaviour and then apply a series of statistical computations and processes to create and update suggested 'next-action' or 'performance' indicators.

These indicators will help marketers make better selection and targeting decisions without needing to understand statistics.

Each indicator (or flag) is created with meaningful and straightforward descriptions for sales and marketers to easily follow. They can be created to spot and minimise churn, suggest appropriate cross and up-sell actions, ensure that sales associates have relevant expertise to match customer expectations, etc. Importantly these indicators will enable marketers to quickly address any issues and take advantage of  opportunities that would otherwise have remained hidden.

In a similar context, many companies purport to use (or provide) a single customer view for marketing and analytics.  However this is usually a read only screen containing additional summarised sales information linked to a customer contact record. Yes it helps sales and marketing staff see the bigger picture when they are accessing that record, but when they need to use this extra information for marketing selection or analysis - quickly summarising thousands or even millions of sales transactions by product by month for example - then this extra data is either unavailable or not held in a suitable format for selection.

This problem can be made worse if the associated databases or lists cannot be linked using a common reference number - i.e. where perhaps the people who you sell to are not the same as those who purchase your goods or services. The delivery address may also be totally different to that of the sales contact and this necessitates a far more complex and consultative merge/purge process. A similar situation can arise when merging or suppressing multiple acquisition customer databases or prospect lists against your main customer database, again where no linkage exists or where foreign addresses and data are being used.
