When
maps form part of a territory planning or marketing/management
information system, and web pages are used to manage and
display the information, zoom-level maps combined with varying
search and navigation options will dramatically improve
access to information and business efficiency.
Working
securely from a
copy of non-sensitive information,
Tech4T can undertake all data consolidation, provide information
for optimised territory design, develop the optimum number
of balanced territories, source prospect lists, provide
wall maps then build and optionally maintain a map-based
solution to match your business needs.
The
example below shows the UK first split into 12 regions (1).
These in turn drill down to a subset of territories (2)
- over 300 in this instance. We then set up links from each
territory to display just that territory (3 and 4) and from
there allow you to zoom in to the underlying data used for
balancing the territories (5).
Further zooms can be use to show customer, prospect, accounts...
or other locations, with menus to switch between types (6),
close-ups where there are high location concentrations (7),
and location-specific data-sheets (8). We can also
vary the level of detail for sales and franchise documentation,
wall maps, etc.
