This 'single
view' of your customer and trading data (including any other
information you need) can be deployed in a number of ways...
As a
targeting system for
121 marketing. where we can help new and established
businesses use data to plan
An on-line
'dynamic cube' that gives you updated database counts for
planning sales and marketing activities - powered by
FastStats
A solution
to help
prevent customer lapse
However,
perhaps the most
important use is to deliver business, customer and sales insight
to the management team using a 'dashboard'.
A dashboard can
take several forms and we use various tools and processes to
create an output format to suit your business. The most common
format is an Excel workbook - which is easy to distribute and
can be read by almost anyone. Another popular format is to embed
a 'dynamic' Excel spreadsheet or a flash-powered dashboard in
an Adobe Acrobat PDF file.
We can also create
and keep up-to-date an on-line dashboard -
which Tech4T can securely host or you can place on your own
Intranet or website.
Most importantly, Tech4T
can usually implement a dashboard solution in a matter of days,
with full deployment inside one month!
Understanding your business
Dashboards can
be produced to meet virtually any business insight requirement.
They can include sales, salesperson, campaign, production, business
measure KPIs, or other performance statistics.
Shown to the right and below,
are a few examples as to what can be achieved.
The example here - a multi-company
dashboard - provides drop-down boxes for the user to select
a time period, which companies/divisions to compare and what
data to compare. The graphs then change to provide the results.
Customer segmentation and database
movement
This dashboard shows
a breakdown of a customer database and how this has changed
over a 12 month period.
The database has been split into a discrete number of segments
- each then broken down into value bands - with counts of how
many individuals fall within each.
Customer migration
This dashboard takes customer segmentation and database movement
to a different level.
Here the actual individuals who have moved across database segments
over a 12 month period have been analysed.
For instance, it shows where the people who were in a specific
segment a year ago, have moved to as of today.
Business performance
Use
this dashboard to analyse business performance by selecting
an option from a drop-down list box.
A second part of this dashboard
(not shown) provides a breakdown of the top customers, each
one's spend activity and the sales person/persons who look after
that customer.
Order comparison
This
dashboard compares the number of orders received on a month
by month basis, across six separate companies (or divisions)
and over two 12 month periods.
A separate control panel (not shown) enables the user to set
the time period, which group companies to analyse, and whether
to analyse by the number of orders or the number of lines per
order.
The output can also be filtered by the sales team, allowing
the sales director to analyse each member's performance.
Sales and income
performance
This dashboard
has
multiple pages. It gives a weekly status of customer activities,
average order value and average number of orders, total sales
value, a breakdown of the sales and marketing channels used
to obtain the orders, a summary of customers' last activity,
and sales value comparison.
A second page (not shown) provides details about marketing campaign
activity, response and the return on investment (ROI) achieved.
A third page (again not
shown) provides management with a set of KPIs - key performance
indicators, for varying parts of the business and how they compare
with a previous period.
